About

Sophie Danner is an Portland-based, Olympia-born illustrator, designer, and communications strategist. She received her BFA in Illustration with a minor in Sustainability and Social Practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2022.

Inspired by the natural landscapes and grunge influence prevalent in her hometown, Sophie combines old-school DIY practices and contemporary digital techniques to create detailed, organic illustrations.

Sophie is a freelancer; co-coordinator of Portland Zine Meetup; and occasional comic-slinger at Secret Room. 

When she’s not working, Sophie can be found playing bass guitar, admiring the moon, or hanging out her super cool cat, Molly.
